The CSU Tony McGrane Memorial Scholarship fund is holding the 2026 function as a dinner hosted at Dubbo RSL.
This dinner commemorates the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Tony McGrane MP, a former Member for Dubbo and Gilgandra Shire President and Councillor. Since the first dinner in 2010, 27 scholarships have been awarded and 18 of them have gone to students from the Faculty of Nursing.
The 2026 recipients are Bree Martin, studying Bachelor of Nursing, and Tamara McFarlane, studying Bachelor of Human Services.
The guest speaker, John Walkom, is a respected Dubbo businessman, property developer and regional advocate with over 50 years of experience. He is known for his involvement in the No.1 Church Street development and his contributions to regional development, tourism and community leadership across the Orana region.
