Small Business Grant Pilot Program

Looking to improve your shopfront, expand your services, invest in your workforce or trial a new business idea?

The Small Business Grant Pilot Program has been designed to support small businesses across the Dubbo Region to undertake projects that strengthen their operations, enhance local business centres and contribute to a vibrant regional economy.

Eligible projects may include shopfront improvements, facade upgrades, website development, outdoor dining infrastructure, staff training, business planning, networking events and projects that support the night-time economy.

Key Dates

  • Applications open: 3 August 2026
  • Applications close: 5pm, 14 September 2026
  • Successful applicants announced: October 2026

The festive season will be here before we know it, and so will the Christmas Jingle Bucks Shopping Campaign, we will be introducing our Window Dressing Competition, and a jam-packed Shop Local this Christmas campaign designed to shine a spotlight on businesses across the Dubbo Region.

If you're a registered #myDubboRegion Shopping Card business, you are automatically included in the Christmas promotion - putting your business front and centre during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year.

How Voting Works

Registered businesses will receive a personalised voting poster with a unique QR code. Customers simply scan the code to vote for their favourite display.
